1.Warm the water. On the stove, in the microwave, over a fire in a cast iron pot, or however you want. But don’t boil it! It just needs to be warmer than room temperature.

2.Pour warmed water in pitcher or desired container. Add honey and mix until is completely blended.

3. Stir lemon juice and refrigerate until desired coolness or add some ice! (Lessen the water by 1 cup if adding ice.)

4. Enjoy on a hot summers day, after work, or whenever you feel like a glass of Fresh Honey Lemonade!

When I created this recipe, I was longing for a refreshing drink that would make my hot, late summer day “sweeter.” (Haha!) I saw the lemons, grabbed the honey, and a pitcher. I know how hard it is to mix honey in something cold, so thats why I warmed the water. OK, OK, it was hard to wait for it to cool. But if you add ice cubes it makes its cool down faster! Just lessen the water so the lemonade doesn’t taste like old Gatorade. After waiting patiently, I opened the fridge and I could feel the blast of pure fresh-ness! Just kidding, but I was so ready for that lemonade. Enjoy by keeping it all to yourself (hehe) or make it better by inviting some friends over!
